The Assistant Director of Workforce identifies, develops, coordinates, implements, and promotes workforce trainings and programs that meet the needs of local business and industry partners with a focus on manufacturing and the trades. The Assistant Director performs key functions in providing support and customer service to local employers, students, staff, and instructors associated with workforce programs including both training development, oversight and administrative tasks. Additionally serves as a career coach, guiding students from program selection and entry to job placement and/or credit programs.
