About Maine ATD
The Maine Chapter of ATD (Association for Talent Development), formerly ASTD (American Society for Training and Development), is a non-profit organization for those professionals actively engaged in or interested in the fields of training and development.
Our mission is to be Maine’s premiere resource to assist individuals and organizations to achieve their potential through work-related training and talent development.
Its purposes are to:
- Provide means for statewide development of formal and informal networks
- Provide and encourage opportunities for the professional development of its members
- Establish and improve standards of professional service in the training and development field and the community
General Information
Chapter Events
Each month, set aside the third Tuesday to attend our chapter meetings. Chapter events provide local networking and professional development opportunities for training, HRD, and performance improvement professionals across Maine. Members and Non-members are welcome. Subscribe to our mailing list to be kept up to date on presenter topics, and rsvp on our Events page to let us know you're coming. Please note that no meetings occur in July/August.
