How can trainers provide ‘on the job’ training that is consistent across locations and doesn’t require a significant amount of human capital?  One way is to leverage mobile learning.  Through an Interview you’ll hear the story of how one company took the plunge into mobile learning.  This session provides an overview of LL Bean’s journey from the initial training request, design and decision to use iPods and video and final deployment in multiple languages.  The instructional designer responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating this blended learning curriculum will present his experiences as a case study.  There will also be a collaborative group discussion where you will have an opportunity to ask questions and brainstorm barriers and solutions to utilizing mobile learning in your organization.
