“What is your leadership voice and presence? Join us to reflect on your leadership development and vision for yourself as a leader.”

What is your leadership voice and presence? How does this influence your organization? Often leaders work through their list of responsibilities without reflecting on who they are and want to be as a leader. In this workshop series, we’ll focus on leadership development and begin to explore our own personal leadership voice and vision for our future selves. Our view of leadership is formed from our experiences, our challenges, and influences such as great mentors. The second part of the series will transition to focus on our impact on organizations and how to foster sustaining change. We'll use the ATD Talent Development Capability Model as a representation of how we can develop ourselves and our organizations.

Learning Objectives - Workshop I

Participants will:

  • Review the ATD Talent Development Capability Model (link) as a foundation for. the workshop series
  • Discuss popular myths & assumptions of what leadership is
  • Explore personal values & strengths and how they influence leadership voice
  • Identify individual's supports, resources, investments & opportunities for growth
  • Engage in future focused visioning of 'my ideal leadership self' & create 1 SMART goal to set for self & revisit during workshop II in January.
