Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power.

PROGRAM

A masterful professional practice requires strong interpersonal and self-management skills. This in turn demands that we recognize the importance of and engage in a process of self-awareness. Use of Self is a concept that is central to many professional helping disciplines. It’s widely accepted yet often ambiguous, vague, and difficult to convert into action.

Use of Self is a necessary competency for people who are leading, coaching, facilitating, consulting and empowering others to act.

In this session we’ll explore the notion of Use of Self and the implications for how we approach our work.

  • Examine the concept of Use of Self
  • Heighten self-awareness
  • Explore the implications for how we approach our work
