Walk away with a tool that can help you explain to others what you do and how you do it!

As the Talent Development profession evolves we find ourselves constantly describing to others what we do. Each organization is unique and the value we add is unique. Join Katie Vaillancourt and Catherine Menyhart for an interactive session that will explore a new ATD tool that will help you better articulate what you do and how you contribute to the organization on a daily basis.

Group activities will include using a puzzle (based on ATD's Building a Talent Development Structure Without Borders research report) to explore the common functional areas of talent development and determine areas of focus and contribution.

As a result of this session, you will be able to:

  • Describe how you spend your time and what contributions you make to your organization.
  • Discuss both primary and secondary contributions and areas of responsibility and influence.
  • Walk away with a tool that can help explain to others what you do and how you do it.
